Hop Farm Festival- Got Me Looking Forward to Summer
Hop Farm Festival 2010 is gonna be a gudden. Bobby D is headlining, closely followed by Pete Doherty and the bloke from the Kinks- to say I'm excited would be an understatement!

See You In Tokyo
I can't wait to go and see Emma in Toyko, I hope she is dressing like this by the time I get there..
Talking New York
Lucky for me, a week turned into 10 days in the Big Apple.
I spent my trip in the residency of friends and family, located in snow covered Brooklyn, across the road from a part time Santa Claus.
The day after my arrival Mother Nature welcomed me with a bright blue sky, perfect weather to explore the surroundings of a city I hadnt previously had the pleasure of visiting. (Unless of course you count my one night stay in Long Island due to cancelled flight!)Not suprisingly, me being me, and my sister being my sister, we headed straight for the shops...They are incredible.
We firstly headed down to Bedford where I found myself in amongst vintage havens such as Beacons Closet, a warehouse of wonder and intrigue, and About Glamour, a Japanese owned vintage boutique housing the most amazing Vivienne Westwood pieces. The cold weather meant that I had every excuse to purchase a new coat, fur hat and $5 shirts by the dozen. The unique flea markets and street stalls around every corner saw me coming home with the most beautiful and original jewellery and accessories.
Night life was just as impressive, from warehouses filled with swings, seesaws and fire eaters in Brooklyn, to a night at Sway in Manhattan, dedicated to the British tunes of Morrisey and The Smiths, just a shame there were so many Americans with very unconvincing english accents, Emma definitely wasnt impressed!
Good places too eat out are endless, so much atmosphere and so reasonably priced.
I give you my favourites; See- Bedford- Resident DJ, swinging chairs and water features (great combination for a Thai restaurant)Cafe Habana- http://www.cafehabana.com/- Pea sized Cuban Diner offering great food, and speciality cocktails, The Corner- Emmas place of work, and the perfect venue for a spot of brunch (tea and scones included) with Emily.
The main tourist attractions weren't top of our agenda. We did however, take a look at the MOMAS Tim Burton Exhibition, a complete collection of his drawings, films, cartoons and sculptures.
Much to Emmas unexcitement we went to dance on the 'Big Piano' in FAO Schwartz, personally I think the proffessionals could have been a bit more professional!
Above all else, the walk from Brooklyn to Manhattan across the Brooklyn bridge would be a journey I would never get bored of. -12 degrees and a completely clear blue sky made for the most unbelieveable views of the Manhattan skyline...

From Russia With Love
Russia turned out to be the experience of a lifetime. Five days spread between Moscow and St Peterberg were spent enjoying all things Russian.
From cultural trips to see Tchaikovskys Swan Lake and St Petersbergs mighty Winter Palace to fine dining in Moscow, with restaurants such as Pushkin Cafe, Central House of Writers and Sky Lounge, situated on the 22nd Floor, offering unbelieveable views of the capital.
Days were spent with the historical Russian figures, touring the Peter and Paul fortress, visiting the last burial place of the Romanovs, and a very strange outing to see Lenins corpse, the most expensive corpse in history. The only thing that could have made the trip better would have been some spiritual healing from the mysterious Rasputin himself.
Travelling from Moscow to St Peterberg was achieved via an 8 hour night train, one beginning at midnight with a shot of vodka, and ending the next morning with breakfast at a local cafe.
I'd live there if I had the choice, just a shame I can't speak Russian, can't read Russian and am not a Billionaire like the rest of the Moscow elite...
